Just sat in on a live web chat with Sara Rowghani from Google Mobile on WebUser. Like with many of these things, you don’t get that much information, but good to get an internal opinion. Anyways, it was not that long, no could you get many good answers out, but here is the best I could do!

Is Google working with the appropriate stakeholders in the development and implentation of advanced mobile advertising on handsets?

Sara Rowghani: Carl, The mobile advertising space is still in its nascent stages. We hope to bring our technology and our proven reach in advertising to the mobile space to benefit users, developers, publishers, and advertisers alike. Our experience connecting publishers and advertisers on the web will help us extend this network onto the mobile platform. Moreover, we’d like to create the best possible mobile experience for users while helping publishers, developers, and advertisers determine the best way to reach their goals on mobile devices.
